Working with Historic Houses Association Member Properties

Picture
The Thames Valley Country House Partnership works closely with a number of Historic Houses Association member properties in the Thames and Chilterns area to improve visitor experience, assist with conservation and restoration, and develop shared research agendas at privately owned historic houses in the region.

The Partnership collaborates with privately-owned in a variety of different ways, including: climate and energy monitoring, archival cataloguing and primary research, exhibition design, and educational policy. This work is organised at a bespoke level with individual properties and varies in size, scope and duration.

Sample projects include:

  • Student Internship placements at Blenheim Palace and Broughton Castle.
  • Academic Advisor for Stowe House Preservation Trust's HLF-supported 'Enlightenment for All' project.
  • Supported Artist in Residence programme at Kelmscott Manor.
  • Executive Education programmes held at HHA member properties in partnership with University of Oxford's Saïd Business School.
